BRES Parent Teacher Organization

It is getting closer and closer to the end of another successful year at Bristow Run Elementary. The PTO would like to thank all those who have joined our organization and/or volunteered their time to make our events a great success. We could not have done it with you!!

However now it is time to start focusing on the 2009 - 2010 school year and building our ranks to ensure another successful school year.

Investing in the PTO, through a paid membership, is an investment into our children. Especially during this time of economic turmoil, it is important to focus on those invenstments that will provide the highest rate of return. Our children will grow to be future law enforcement, doctors, engineers, social workers, teachers, and the leaders of our wonderful country. What could be a better or stronger investment?

Membership in the BRES PTO does not require you to volunteer at school events. The dues collected help to fund many worthwhile programs, activities, and events scheduled throughout the school year such as:

In school programs and assemblies

Teacher training conferences and materials

Panther Folders for every student

Teacher Stipends

Special requests from teachers and staff

New books for the liabrary and classrooms

Scholastic News

Before and AFter School Enrichment

Odyssey of the Mind

Landscaping and Beautification

Without the necessary funds some or all of these would not be possible. However, for $5 per adult, you can help enrich the academic life of your child and provide a solid foundation to the beginning of their education.
